Cut the stock Fairing, Check it out! Streetfighter??

So my hawk has been down for two weeks and seeing as im still waiting on parts and am currently unemployed I couldn't help but start to modify my baby.

Previouss owner dropped it on both sides so the fairings were all banged up and cracked. Had it zip tied on the left side. I decided to cut the stock fairing and do a somewhat streetfighter look. Plan on going with a different look eventually but for now Im going to go polish crazy and polish everthing even the upside down V between the main frame connecting the two.

Work in progress but heres the results so far. If you looks closely I had a few different designs for the front fairing but when I made the first cut I liked the look. Still have to sand and paint the fairings and fuel tank

Haha yeah those racks are expensive, so I just bolted it thru to a plate underneath. Works well. Rode 400 miles to go camping with it full. Works great. Have another seat for when I wanna ride 2 up. Cheaper that way. Also it comes off with the press of a button and I can take it with me. I can actually ride 2 up if needed but they gotta sit on a metal bracket.

I have a similar givi box on an old seat for the same reason. Keeps the bike supersport when not carrying stuff.
