Crap...

So like a moron, I left the bike running in the driveway to run back in the house. Needless to say it wiggled it's way to the edge and into the grass where it decided to sink in the mud and fall over. No big deal right? Well, the sidewalk happened to make an appearance where it fell and boy a tip over can really f$@k up some plastics in a hurry lol. Nothing real serious just pissdd me off because she was perfect. Oh well. Not the first or last bike in my life so now it gives mr an excuse to try some things. Does anyone have knowledge of where member sparxx got that headlight assembly on the vtr of the year? Do assemblies such as that strap to the forks? Thanks guys. (and girls)

How did a 400+ pound motorcycle, sitting on rubber, "wiggle" and move while idling?

Bummer, man. I can't tell from the picture, but this might do you:

(also: Head Lights. Wild Hair Accessories. Motorcycle Accessories & Aftermarket European Parts.)

I've bought stuff from this guy in the past and he's great to work with although this is VERY expensive. You can pick up a CB750 / SV headlight and brackets for less than $100 on Ebay, but that might not be the look you're going for... I had for a very brief moment a 'busa headlight that would look great on a naked(ish) SH, too.

Thanks crashrat for the info and help. aja, anyone who has ever parked on a sloped driveway knows the danger of the bike just not sitting right. You get off, the handle bars are turned and when you go to get off it gives a little slide? Couple the driveway slope with the vibration of the v-twin and it can walk down a driveway trust me. Im sure we can find someone on here who has knowledge of physics and will explain the science lol. Thats why i refer to myself as moron in the post. I knew better :/

I've had a fear of this very thing happening to me every time I park in my driveway. So I always hit the kill switch and leave it in first gear. I know my bike would do exactly this otherwise. (except in my case it would fall on concrete...)

Sorry dude, hope it all comes out good in the end.
