Question corbin seat

i am now the owner of a corbin seat(gunfighter and lady). this is an install question. the seat fits quite nice and matched right up with the lock latch. do i need to install the catches?(transfer them from the stock seat?) the seat pan is set up with bolts and threaded inserts in the same place as stock(well almost). it seems pretty stable. i just worry that it might be detrimental to the lock somehow?

I also have that seat and backrest dont remember having to transfer anything. the cowl has screws to hold it on on the corbin. oh by the way after about 1000 miles the seat will get a little more comfy and it will stay slippery with the wrong jeans on.
