Agree totally with Capt. Chaos... Don't put F/G resin on ABS plastic, it just eats it away... Repair it with the same material if whenever possible, as welding two parts of the same material makes it "become" the part, not something that can pop off with your fingernail.

I did this before with a little chunk of black abs from an old tv case that I made patches out of, and filled the holes in steps with black ABS cement from Lowes... Car guys have written plenty of step by step instructions on this, google it...

PLASTIC WELDERS SUCK, THEY JUST BAND AID IT, YOU CAN GO TO LOCAL BODY SHOP SUPPLY AND THEY HAVE SOME STUFF THAT LOOKS LIKE SUPER GLUE THAT WORKS GREAT
