Front blinker question

hey guy's...

ordering a bunch of stuff on ebay tonight for the bike rebuild... And i need some front blinkers.. I'm trying to buy from one of the ebay stores i'm already using for other purchases for combined shipping...

Sooooooooo......

Is there any other honda bikes that would use the same front blinkers? (looking at flush mounts)...

like can i use a CBR600-1000 flush mount blinker?

I have seen a couple that list blinker spacers, which looks like it fills stock hole for a smaller blinker, does that open me up to more choices?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Unless your looking to do all 4 with LEDs (complicated due to the resistors etc to bring down the flash rate), I suggest buying the dual-element L-P III available from http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Chap...1486FD5DACE93A for like $14 which are bright & easy to install.

Andy,

that jagmotorcycle.. ebay store is the one i just bought my pegs from last night, and emailed him to see if he had those exact blinkers in a smoke lens...

He has lots of them in smoke, but listed for CBR's... one of the listings said they where 3-wire, but i am just waiting for a responce from him....

I am trying to buy them from either his site, or one other i made a couple purchases from just for the whole combined shipping thing...

(Ordered last night)
-intergrated brake/tail light
-blue clutch/brake levers
-black foot pegs (front) ---- guess i could order backs just to match
-black bar ends

have clip on headed here from Inderrocker (thanks)

and I'm working on something for a set of replacement fairings too....

So the rebuild parts should all be here waiting as soon as i'm ready/capable to start on it.

------ as for LED's.... Since i order the LED rear tail light/blinker, i think i would prefer going LED for the front's too, that way I can just have a faster blink rate....

hi, I've got a cheap ($50) clear lens LED combo tail light, signals, license light and cheaper ($15) 3 wire clear lens, amber bulb incandescent flushmounts up front. blink faster than stock with no resistors. concerns are heat and bulb replacement of fronts. heard heat can be an issue and lenses are glue on so maybe you just pop for new ones (or get creative) when they burn out. easy hookup and install for both although fronts are a bit deep and push the inner fairing a bit. had to put bullet sockets on my '02 front signal wiring. older hawks may already have them. my factory connectors were broken up when i got the bike. tail light had no instructions but was a real clean install when i got it figured out. look real decent for the money and don't damage very easily if something stupid occurs. might go with a spring loaded flip down plate mount now. just to hide my seat lock of course.

great idea, not sure if you could get away with the 55 watt halogen "back up" light underneath since it's a bike!
