Call me crazy!

Has anyone ever put tail from a cbr954rr tail on a superhawk? Searched all over and can't find anything. Is there a reason it hasn't been done? I was thinking that since the subframe is square steel like the superhawk it mat be easier to modify it to fit. I feel like the lines would match better than some of the newer bike tails. If anyone has one I'd love to know some dimensions to see if it's even possible.

Not crazy. You can do anything you want, if you put your mind to it..

Ok, have it your way. I’m calling you crazy. There, better now?
Yes good luck on finding that specific detail. There is a thread on this site recently with something similar.
Get a 954 sub frame and go at it. Of course post your progress.

Yeah, I was thinking I might try asking someone on Ebay that is selling one if they could give me a couple measurements before purchasing. I feel like as long as the lower subframe mounts are at least close to the same width it could work fairly easily, but that kinda has to be close due to the way the fairing mounts.

Why?!! The ass of our lovely lass is one of the most beautiful and well balanced and flowing to the lines and curves and shapes as the rest of her...Classic beauty for our age still. I like fullness and a voluptuous character to the spindly things that sprang forth in the 60's and still show their waspy waists and tiny asses today, even with overbearing frontal mass and cleavage that belies silicone.

I like that the 954 is not overly skinny like the newer bikes. It's one swap that, if it works, would blend well with the fairings, if I decide to keep them. If I decide to go naked I think the radiator could fit under the tail.

If they are in decent shape, if you go naked, I'll take all its plastic and headlight. The undertail rad has been done by someone, sometime on the forum...
