Anyone use LP Signal Mirrors?

Title pretty much says it all. Lockhart makes a turn-signal mirror that I'm thinking of buying for the 'Hawk. I'd run the signal there and make my LP flush mounts on the sides just run as marker lights. BUT, the mirrors look pretty short stalked, so I'm wondering how that'll work on the Hawk, with already short mirrors.

Anyone mount these/have experience with them?

Yeah I used them for a SHORT time. Sorry but yeah I did use them but took them off after a while because I had to lift my arm up to see behind me, they look good and I liked the signal but they are REALLY short.

That's what I was afraid of. Do they have metal rods under the plastic that I could possibly lengthen?

1 hollow metal rod that connects the mirror to the plate, so it is possible but it would take some work and a new/or no boot.

Does anybody else make these things? Can we bring Euro parts over or is shipping/customs a nightmare? I don't know if there is a foreign option...just thinking there might be. I'd be interested as I'm tired of pulling all this stuff off and on for track days. This would eliminate the signals as mirrors already come off for the track. Not that the stock signals aren't attractive or anything....
