Noob here to the VTR Superhawk

I picked up a 2002 with 12k miles looks brand new. Love this bike.

Came with the Corbin Seat
Bar Risers
StainTune High Mount Exhaust (wish it was low mount) <-- Never heard of them had to look it up

Sounds awesome and rides great

Ordered a few things to start modding this bike (Windshield, Frame Slidders, LED lights) until I learn more about it.

Wow very awesome. What a great buy, the comfort department is all set for you. I had never heard of Staintunes exhaust either until I bought my 02 VFR800 which had them on it and I looked them up. Welcome to the forum.

 

I may do that. I know they are like 1100 bucks or something crazy. I need them to sit lower. PM me an offer I may do a 2 bothers low mount or some other low mount (Had Yoshi on my F4i loved those). They sound great but is one piece welded so kind of screwed. They are in perfect shape.

I want a deep sound what is best?

Staintune exhaust will be up for sale soon I did order a lower mounted exhaust system.

 

I live 30 mins from the Staintune factory.

There pipes are highly regarded here in Oz if somewhat pricey.

They last forever and are well made from quality materials.

Agreed this exhaust system is flawless. I would keep if I could make them lower mounted but it is all welded together as one piece. Fist I have seen like that on a sport bike but is true non the less.
