Painting is one of those simple things that can be hard to master. I remember painting some parts for a project car and not turning the air pressure down (it was pretty late at night. . .. ) I couldn't figure out why I was going through so much paint. the next day at work everything in the shop had about an 8th inch layer of red dust on it.

 

Both coats look better than my last attempt turned out. I forgot to add flex agent on one coat and didn't sand between color and clear coats. I'm still not sure what else I did wrong, but it's a nice "5 foot" paint job.

Bummer on the drop, that'll ruin a guy's night.
