Supermonie's 03 Super Hawk

When to start off my name is Chris,

I am here to learn more about my new bike, yesterday I purchased an 03 with 2,570 miles. I think got a good deal because I paid only 5K. I have been only riding for a year. My first bike I bought last year which was a ninja 250 just to learn the ropes of riding. Of course I got bored so I wanted a faster bike. My buddy let me check out his 04 SH and I was very impressed. So I got lucky yesterday and found one local and ran there to buy it the same day. It is a great ride but I have not pushed it all the way because I am still getting used to all the power. Either way WOW this bike is tons of fun. I have some things I want to do it so I will upate with my projects for right it is stock. Here a couple of crappy pictures that don't do her justice I will post better ones tommorrow.

welcome chris. its a great site, with lots of info and lots of good people. take it easy with the bike - its a lot more power than the 250 and deceptively fast. find some new and advanced rider courses through MSF or local riders programs - will help you stay safe and explore the bikes and your limits without getting hurt.

its a great bike.

thanks. its definitely not as in as good of physical condition as most of the bikes on this site, its been left outside a lot by previous owners, but i love it nonetheless. ive seen some white superhawks and they look really awesome. especially when they have black decals

another thing you might consider that ive been thinking of doing is getting your frame powder coated black. it looks damn cool. if you do a search on the site you should be able to find a few pictures.
