recent pics of hawk too late for shotm

I guess these are too late for Super Hawk of the month but I just finished the CBR1000RR front end, some stripes, etc. Lighting today was kind of funky

I like the paint job. It reminds me of a late '60s muscle car.

Coast Guard is orange and white, by the way. But yes, they use stripes too.

That upper/lower fairing are sweet. Looks like they are much closer to the front tire than stock.

i dont know the brand of the undertail. It is kinda cool in that it has intgrated led turn signals. I have since put on cbr900 mirrors and put turn signals on them. Great for visibility. The bodywork is more like an rc51 in that is not as curvy as the stock

It's really well done. I like that tail because it doesn't affect the stock tail light. How hard was it to get the tuning right with a single exhaust?

The undertail is a Mototeck or a copy of those... Not made anymore, so you can't find them...

Actually, that seems to be an ongoing issue with this bike. The top end is rip your arms off strong but bottom is underwhelming. I hope to rectify it by spring along with the penske shock. I much prefer low end grunt.

I doubt it... It seems to be the common result of a single exhaust... To restrictive/ too much backpressure and you loose the grunt, but gain top-end... That was the result for several others that tried it... Dunno for sure, but the best way to fix it on this bike seems to be adding another pipe shotgun style and opening up the cross over a bit...

Nice! We need some updated pics! You should add another pipe on the same side. Then it would start to look like the rc45
