Very nice Vincent!!

I am in Portland and rode up there about two years after it blew.
I never been in a worse bug storm.

It is so nice up there. The road I took is fantastic, continuous twisties for 40 miles. Unfortunately it is a National Forest road with an average speed limit of 40mph. You don't want to be caught speeding in a National Forest, its bad news I am fortunate never to have experienced. Honestly speeding really isn't neccesary though. Most of the curves are 20mph or less and feel great at 40 . And I feel safe in saying it is some of the most beautiful country in the Contiguous US. Scott V, I was on my way to work actually. I live in Seattle but had a project in the Pearl in Portland. So I left at 5am to take the backroads down!

I'll give you the reverse route. Woodland - Cougar - Randle - Morton - Eatonville - Puyallup. The photos are from NF25 between Cougar and Randle.

Ok. I want to do Diablo Lake soon. Maybe we could run that together if you are up for it.

Beautiful pics! I just rode the east side of Mt Rainier to Paradise with three friends. I had every intention of taking some pictures of the trip but could not bring my self to stop and dig out the camera. I repeated to myself "One more corner, just one more corner..." for five hours that day.
