New member salvaged hawk
Just got home with new to me 03. I bought it from a rebuilder who mostly wholesales damaged bikes. I notice a pull to the left on my test ride and made an offer on the bike with the understanding that they would fix the pull. Two forks later this hawk is at least back on the rode.
I have some fairing damage to work on but I'm not a perfectionist so a little plastic welding for the cracks, filler and sanding for the rash, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the missing parts above the mirrors. Maybe I can graft some plastic without making it look worse.
But first thing is catching up the maintance. I have been reading and have a set of manual ccts right here ready to put install this weekend if I'm lucky.
Anyone know if thewoodpecker and checkerd flag flame job sticker is from some preformace parts? Jet kit maybe? Already has an undertail, flush turn signals, a tinted screen that's cracked, and devil high mounts.
Sorry for the upside down pic. Can't figure out how to fix that tonight.

Welcome, That's a rare colour you have there.
How much work has it done?
Good idea to do the CCT'S at the start.
As you go along you will find plenty to do.
Search the site, almost everything you need to know is on here.
Good luck, and remember to ride and enjoy!

OMG- it's upside down!!
In windows, open the folder that the picture is stored in. Right-click on the picture, and in the menu it will say ROTATE CLOCKWISE and ROTATE COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. So you would want to do one or the other, twice, in the same direction.

Trying this out sticky side down.
On my apple I had to rotate the image and save it upside down then rotate it back upright and save again before posting.
Next time I'll just make sure my lens is on top.
