Just joined up. I have just purchased a Superhawk in North Carolina. I am coming to the States in August and will be riding the Hawk from Coast to Coast and back again

My current bike here in OZ is a Triumph Rocket 3. Its about 5 years since I last owned a sportsbike, so I will be searching old threads for information on improving the ride position...such as handlebar risers.

Welcome to the forum. I'm a member of OzFirestorm too! Hopefully one day I can make the trip you're making but the other way around. I'm in Central Texas - hope you can make it by our part of the country. Maybe to help your planning you should do the northern tier states for the fall color. On your way back east you should do the southern tier as it will start to get cold in the north. How much time have you allotted for your trip? What a great adventure!

hey, gimme my bike back.

Well, if you fellas remember me, I was the one inquiring about riding the bike across to California. However, my job has took a turn for the worse, and I won't be able to deliver the bike for leggy, so I'm gonna have to ship it to Cali. I hope Leggy will enjoy the bike, I'm sure he will. I've never owned it, but I have put quite a few miles on it.

Take care of the Legman, I will have to put up with his sorry **** in about 6 months.

 

Yeah....Cheapbastard organised me to buy the bike and then after money changed hands, pictures of burnouts and wheelies began to surface
(Will be staying with the Cheapbastard when I get to NC )
