for the small amount of money i could not leave the bike, i had to buy it. i don't know what i am going to do with it.

it is in good condition. if i clean it up and give it some love it will be in very good condition

If I had a second VTR knowing what I know now I would certainly approach any mods in a different order.

i don't think there will be much modding done to it. i will pick away at a few of it's small issues, mostly cosmetic stuff. i might not ever ride it. shame perhaps, it is a nice bike.

 

big guy is 12 and says when he is 16 he would like to ride the new hawk. i told him i will likely have him out in the vacant parking lots before then. he rides in the dirt and is quite proficient so he will be ready before 16.

chain before and after cleaning. 18 years of grime there. it has as much slack as a mx bike
