My 2002 Superhawk

Here are a few pic of my 2002 Honda Superhawk 1000f with 15,203 miles on it. I just recently purchased this bike. I plan on doing some mods, out of all the bikes I have owned this one I love.

Anyone know of a good site to get mods for my bike, I was thinking of changing the appearance of the bike, also was thinking of replacing the stock head light with a HID system. any thoughts?

Also a lot of my buds I ride with have a vast array of lights on their bike to stand out at night, my question is while yes they do have a certain appeal, what are the affects adding lighting can do to the charging system?

HID for our bike is a "roll your own" type. Not particularly hard, just a bit of fiddling.

see: https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...ad.php?t=17639

Adding additional lighting, so long as you stay under the max wattage of the stator for all your lights combined, will actually help your R/R last longer. (because any extra power generated by the stator gets turned into heat by the R/R)

Welcome ghostrider. Any chance the pa in your name signifies you live in PA? One step farther, if I'm right, are you in Philly?

Another Philly Superhawk! I actually live just outside TFCOBL but I work at ye olde maile factorie at 7500 Lindbergh Blvd. Road in a few times recently but I work the night shift and sometimes I'm just too tired to two wheel it at 11 pm. Ever ridden the loop road around the airport? Lots of sportbikes and as of a couple years ago tons of off road action along one section there. Watch the cobblestones!

I can finally answer your question now, I was thinking of what to do, make 'er a one of a kind. So I went to my buddies body shop and told him my idea and I hope that there is not a SuperHawk out there like it. I am going to with a Resident Evil Theme.

I would like to hear some feedback here, I been riding 'er every chance I can I picked 'er up on 3/15/2010 and I have put 892 new miles on 'er. I guess you can say I LOVE THIS BIKE!!! This by far is the best bike I have ever had! Now its time for a make over.
