My 1998 Super Hawk.... finally!
My 1998 Super Hawk.... finally!
all stock, 8400 miles on it, Bought it in July just before I left for Afghanistan.... While I was gone my local bike shop rebuilt and tuned the carbs for me, along with a few other things such as oil change, inspection, new rear tire, new rear brakes, purged and flushed all fluids... cleaned and delivered it so when i got home, it would be ready for me to ride! All that for $630, what great service!
Yes, this is my garage.... my "showroom".... took me many years of saving $$$ to get the garage just the way I wanted it.... now i am out in the garage more than i am in the house!

is the weather still decent enough where you are to ride? i moth-balled my bike this week up here in MA. hopefully you can get a few miles in before the snow hits

Welcome home!
It seems like only a few weeks back that you dropped it off and had to leave. I'm sure it doesn't seem that way to you.
Beautiful bike!
I'm a bit disturbed by your garage, though.

Disturbed at my "garage"?
That is very disturbing... I need my creative chaos...
It also keeps any females from poking around unneccesarily...
Welcome back! Take it easy on the road... while it will come back... 14 years is long enough to forget details...
And with all the nutty cagers sharing the road with you details is what keeps you alive...

Nice clean specimen! Oh, and the bike is nice too.
I do have two questions:
What is under the cover?
Do you have enough lanterns?
Welcome back, and be sure to enjoy those wonderful PA roads!

I been collecting and restoring coleman camping lanterns for about 5 years now, I have about 250 of them. I could never have kids, so i have my toys...
always have to be working on something... I rebuilt that coke machine, yes , it works! i overhaul chainsaws, rebuild lawnmowers.... anything mechanical, I like to do all my own work... thus the nice garage to do it all in.
VFR79.... We have twisty pothole covered roads, you have my favorite soda down there....CHEERWINE!

What part of PA are you? My in-laws live in Fishertown, and I have yet to ride my bike up there.
We may have Cheerwine, but "youns" have Martins Potato Chips! Yum!!
He's "off". It's what happens when you get old and crash hard.

My next "garage" is going to be no less than 2k square feet with a lift and a gantry.
Don't worry - he's a garage rat just like the rest of us.
Some guys build extravagant outdoor kitchens next to their pool. Mine's going to be next to the garage.

Ha Ha! You are one phunny phucker. Maybe it's just that I never learned how to cut rocks as a boy. My bike is better than your bike!
I would love to have such a clean workspace. I think my floor was put in by the cake frosting lady at Raley's. As long as it gets work done in it, and doesn't just sit there looking pretty, it's fine by me.
When I moved in to my house, the garage was exposed framing with a single 100W light bulb. I insulated and sheetrocked the walls a few years back, put some lights in and built a great workbench. But then the wife got me involved in 5 years of remodelling her side of the house (everything, except the garage). I'm happy to say that's done and paid for.
Last night, I put the last sheet of rock up on the ceiling and rewired for better lighting. Next up is a motorcycle bench, to get it up off the floor.

I am originally from western PA, where we say "youns", around Philly though they refer to folks as "those fu**ers"....... most , NOT all around here are quite rude people....
