A lot of you guys saw it in the for sale section a while ago. It now graces my garage!

Were did you get Carbon clutch and Gen covers ?!! Man I cant find crap for the VTR and you guys keep coming up with all this trick stuff LOL

I didn't have to get them, they were already on the bike. They came from Carbotech in Texas, so I was told. I don't know if they're still offering VTR parts, but that's where all the fun CF stuff is from.

What about it? Do these bikes not normally have some kind of underseat storage? I just pulled the parts list from the ad I read when I boght the bike, really. I haven't added anything to it except mileage!

CarboTech in Dallas is long gone. That guy was a frequent poster to the original sport-twin list. I bought a VFR windscreen from him off ebay when he was going out of biz.

Tail locker also went out of biz. My guess, and it's purely speculation, is he probably got sued. They sometimes opened during riding as the latch system was somewhat suspect.

i do like those covers too! That VTR is one of my favorites behind Brian Lights imfamous SSS VTR!!!

FYI - Those carbotech parts for the clutch and stator covers are not the actual case cover, they are just skins that go over top of the original aluminum case covers. My experience is that they look pretty cheesy and scream "been crashed". Again, just my experiences...
