Thanks, the pan is race as it can hold fluid.
The rad needs repainting, properly this time. I just rattle canned it to see what it would look like and its peeling already.
I need to do better pics to show the paint quality. :P

The really sexy bits I got off of forums like this one. The shock was the toughest (had to wait my turn through 3 used ones) but the lower was the luckiest (watched the Classifieds section here and was first to snap it up). I would be surprised if you still can't buy it new from Moriwaki or Big Valley Honda. Its really well made and shockingly light.
In all honesty I don't notice that much difference with the new shock. I play with the settings and if there is a change it doesn't register with my street riding and yes, we ride hooligan HARD.

I can't speak as to the durability of their motorcycle stuff but I can tell you that in the snowmobile world Fox have acquired a reputation for needing very frequent maintenance/rebuilds.

Belly pan...
I'm looking for some assistance on finding a Moriwaki carbon fiber racing belly pan for my 02 SuperChicken. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I think I paid around $200 - $300 cdn for it shipped but can't recall and would have to dig through a mountain of receipts.
Pretty sure the shock does need a rebuild which I'll do next winter when I do the RC51 front end conversion.

I run a pair of Dual rate 12" travel Fox 2.0 remote resy coilovers on the front of my Rockcrawler and trust me that thing sees all kinds of bad ingredients.... Ive also built many 4 link suspensions with Fox 2.0 Nitro charged shox and had good luck with all of them. I dont think that routine maintenence would be a big issue... Say it were leaking down or something getting parts and rebuilding one of those shox is VERY simple. We destroyed a 18" Travel air shock and actually lathed out our own solid piston rod and ordered new replacement components on the cheap to repair it. I guess what Im saying in short is Ive had very good support and quality out of Fox' suspension stuff.

I added a bunch of better pics taken in natural light to the Members Gallery section.
The Moriwaki belly pan is extremely well made and mounts perfectly with nice hardware. It was a toss up between that one or the Pyramid but I like it more because its a seperate piece (doesn't fit against the stock body work).
I've got some pics floating around of another bike with it painted red to match. I'll see if I can dig em out and post them to the gallery.

I ride with a lot of other VTR's and everyone has the same wind sheild - Puig - cause we all love it. Its perfect and as rediculous as it sounds, the bike feels more stable at highway speeds than with the stock screen.

I believe it... I've never ridden with a stock screen though. Mine came with this double bubble which I believe is a zero gravity one... but yeah I'm getting that lower sometime here. question is to go carbon or get it painted... I saw the pics of the one with it painted red... gonna be a tough decision

Agreed. Keep in mind you'll always be cleaning it if its not black and your gonna need a good painter to get it matched or spend a fortune on that Color Rite stuff. I just went through this exercise and '98 Italian Red is a "tri color". I think it would about $300 in paint alone but you'd have enough to do the whole bike.
