Dolph's VTR
Hello everyone!
Welcome to my bikes thread, as you might have noticed, this is my first post. found this site trying to get good quality pictures of the bikes decals. Have been browsing it ever since tbh
Enough about that.
The bike is a 2000 Honda VTR 1000f firestorm (I'm from Europe), my second VTR.
Bought it off a salvage auction site in September.
here it is
basically, when i first got it i was a bit worried because the bike didn't have any keys and the millage was unknown.
the first thing i did was working around the ignition to know the millage before buying anything for it.
when i finally turn the ignition on i was quite happy, the bike had done only 24k which is good millage for a bike it's age in the uk.
most of the damage is just cosmetic. the r/h hanger was broken off, speedo bracket bent and front brake lever was broken off..
at the moment, if everything is going to go as planned i'll spray the first bits of plastic with basecoat. going for a bmw imola red II.
i will upload some more pictures later on.
mods on it at the moment are:
belly pan
tail tidy
passenger seat cover
high level exhaust(sounds really nice)
rear hugger..
some of the stuff that i'm planning to add is:
dark tint double bubble
front rotor brake discs
rear led light
k&n air filter
manual cam chain adjusters
maybe a dyno jet and a quick shifter with time

Decent VTR! If you have been perusing pictures of VTR's, you know that you haven't seen that color very often. I think you should stick with that color, but that's just me. However, that BMW red would look pretty sweet.

hey Wicky!
no problem with the vinyls, my mate recommended a guy who does car vinyls and he made the in pretty good quality and for a very good price. for all the stickers i had made i only paid £6 something.
and fyi, Imola Red II is not a slow colour lol..
will take some better pics tomorrow after waxing it.
