Another newbie
Been ridding CBR's all my life, thought I'd try something new.
Lower cowl, scotts dampner, custom exaust(previous owner-real nice), jet kit, and dyno tuned- 118 at the tire.

Ok, I lost the wire for my camera and have ordered a new one. I'll post the exhaust picks then. The person I purchased it from designed it while studying aerospace engineering. He used an autocad program to draw it up. It is made of aircraft aluminium(muffler), str8 through set up packed with a hightemp fiber(not fiberglass), and the pipes are treated with .....(can't remember the name of the stuff, but had it on my jeep headers).
That pic I posted is one that was sent to me and is bad quality, this bike's looks are a heluva lot better in person. I was very weary of the blue woody racing decal on the fuel tank, but in person it looks great. I have removed the other decals and replacing them with white or silver.
Also thinking of painting the inner wheels blue or white, what do you think?

I am flabberghasted at the Hawks pictured here and elsewhere on the Forum. I love my Hawk, but they didn't catch on too good in the Seattle area, from what I can see. They like the four-pots, mostly. But Jeez! The way those bikes are fixed up!
I'm getting the idea that a lot of different front ends will fit on a Hawk. Hmmm- it does deserve a better fork. Or at least a re-work.
