Almost done! Thanks to EVERYONE HERE !!
Finally I figured out Photobucket and got some pics of this horrendous project that took all winter. Thanks to everyone who was such a great help. Especially AC Cobra, georonimo, nuhawk, and VTRbandit! But everyone here is such a help with everything. I can't tell you how much more work this thing has been, but it runs like a scalded dog and is waaay more fun than my old FZR 600. Just thought I'd put up a few pics. Again Thanks to everyone here, and I look forward to meeting some of you guys perhaps in person. BTW if any of you are near St. Louis, look me up!

I think I mentioned that I bought the thing wiped out (previous owner wheelied it into a corn field OUCH!) And I bought it from him as a winter project. So after the final tally, here's what got done (less several small things that I can't even remember now! sheesh!):
--Replaced the forks (used)
--Replaced the upper fairing stay (used) and repainted it rally black
--Replaced ALL FAIRINGS (I mean EVERYTHING even the undersides) (used)
--Installed a custom undertail with LED taillights
--Custom paint job on the fairings Ferrari Yellow with tri-stage Zerillic Pearl (I paint cars for a living so that's really not a big deal)
--Replaced the swingarm (used) and then I polished it and painted the cast area rally black
--I was gonna polish the frame too but then I thought about all the work it is and decided to make that plan "B" and instead decided to paint the frame casting area black and the engine cases and rearsets (I went back and brushed the swingarm polished area and the heelguards on the rearsets to match the frame so everything would match)
--Polished the wheel lips and painted the wheels rally black to match the rest of the bike
--Replaced the subframe (used) and painted it rally black
--Replaced the seat (used)
--Replaced the brake and clutch assemblies complete (used) (and by the way, damn it took forever to bleed the clutch!!! SHEESH!! I thought I broke something before i figured out it was just HELLA hard to do!)
--Replaced the broken right rearset and passenger peg.
--Installed Tapeworks Decals and emblems (I just don't care for Honda's factory "SuperHawk 996" emblem)
--Installed flushmount turn signals (they blink back and forth like "Kit" from Night-Rider hehe!)
--Installed Yellow LEDs to light 'er up at night.
--New plugs and all fluids!
--Etc., Etc., Etc.
And I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!
Again, Thanks for all the help from everyone here and for all the archived Technical discussion posts YOU GUYS ROCK!

Wow! It looks like a brand new bike! And with everything that you've done to it, it should drive like new! Looks like you had a really nice shop to work on it! What an incredible taping job! Good job on the paint - I've always thought the Superhawk had too many colors on it. I also like the lines that you chose to break the colors.
