shitty cell phone picture...

that bracket on the top pipe broke off so for right now we welded a bolt to the exhaust pipe through the stock mounting hole.

this is my superhawk... its a mix and match bike you can say. It has a 2000 frame and a 98 motor, used to be red haha, sharkskinz lower, rear directionals intergrated into tail light, Fast by Ferracci (Ducati) pipes shotgun style, Maxxis Presa Sport (190 rear).

the guy who had it before me (what i think) had extra parts or something and decided to rebuild a superhawk but put alot of custom work into it. he did a crazy custom job on the exhuast the way he made the pipe set up. in the winter me and my father are going to look at the carbs and engine and such to get a better idea with whats going on with it... hope you all like it and if i can find a way to get a video on here of my pipes ill post it. thanks

I agree with Greg - nice pipes! Another member here has the same pipe set-up but they were a manufactured set - that company is no longer in business. Whoever this guy was - he did a great job of welding and polishing. Enjoy, be safe, wear your gear!

You posted some pics before with your sister sitting on the bike, correct?

ya dude i live in new hampshire (tax freeeee.... kinda) and i want to meet the guy who did this suff haha. i think if i get bored enough in the winter i'll try to re-fabricate these pipes or make my own very high mounts... motivation would be needed and my dad would have to teach me how to weld haha. might be getting a tl1000r depending on how my dad feels because he wants a bike and checked out a harley, an older one 1984 ugh and yelled at him then showed him the tl1000r because he misses the hawk but i love it as well

Well if that's the case, let me know before you butcher that beautiful exhaust, it'll definitely need to go to a good home

i removed the lower because i got tired of it and wanted to patch up a hole where it touched the exhaust and burnt it. put a cowel over the hole and started scraping it around right turns then i just recently crashed and dont want it on anymore. i like em' nekkid.

let me know how your mileage is with the single pipe, or if you have to retune the carbs

2 questions....

What type of fender eliminator is that?

and why the 190 tire? looks decent in the pics but alot of people say it will handel poorly squished on a narrower rim designed for a 180. just curious.

Lots and lots of aftermarket integrated tail lights out there for the Hawk. BikeBandit.com sells a really nice LED version with any color lens you want (I personally love clear on black bikes) Blinkers are nice a bright, and it's literally plug and play. It plugs right into the existing light sockets, and only two wires for the blinkers. Takes about 10 minutes to install. Think it runs for about $130. You can probably find cheaper, but it sure is nice.

It's shaped just like the oem light. Looks GREAT!

Nice bike, bro. Love the black...
