Red face What Bearing to use for Front End

Hey Guys,

I am embarking on the front end swap right now and need some help on bearing selection:

Currently there is a beveled bearing on the triple which I am trying to remove. In the process without a Bearing extractor, I damaged the bearing. I initially try to use the beveled bearing as is but it did not work as it did not sit right since the Hawk uses standard round bearings at the bottom.

2 Questions:

1. How am I going to extract the existing bottom bearing.

2. What size and where can I purchase the right bearing for the conversion. The stem seems to be 30 mm at the top. I assume it is as well at the bottom. See pictures.

Help

Thanks for the help

Nice, what forks are those?

FYI: too late now, but I got tapered bearings from allballs.. Just told them what bike it was and what triple I was using. I had a local shop remove the old ones and press on the new ones for me.

Lou, if you contact all-ballz they can hook you up with a match given your switch. They can get you fixed up.
