Bay Area Ride 5\7 or 5\8
Anybody up for a ride on either 5\7 or 5\8?
I was thinking the Mt. Ham - Del Porto - Mines loop (with Calavaras thrown in for a little extra fun....)
If your interested let me know what day works best or if you have a different route in mind, post that up also.
The weather is getting real nice, the roads are pretty clean, time to get a good ride in.

If I get parts for my VFR I'd be happy to join you on the ride, looks like the VTR is gonna be down for atleast another week!
Mt. Hamilton is one of my favorite rides, along with Saratoga Gap/Hw9-Skyline, only problem is that they're on opposite sides of the valley
If I get the parts by 5/6 I'll post up. Right now I'm tamed to chewing the winter chickenstrips down on fun loop-arounds on the freeway and it'd be nice to get out on some actual road!

Man Mike, I guess I just never look in this part of the forum! Apparently, neither do many others! I'd love to ride. I still absolutely hate riding on our freeways though! For me personally, it would be much more attractive if it were a smidge closer, or we could maybe meet up somewhere closer and go wherever you wanted once we got together.

just got my bike, a 02' Superhawk, and would love to join in. Like some of the others on here, we are all too far apart. I live in the central valley, just north of Merced. good news is I'm close to the Sierras and can be in Yosemite >90 min. Maybe we can plan a 1 or 2 day trip down the road. It's just my wife and I and we are very accomidating. Seems like we always have someone crashing on the couch or one of the extra bedrooms.

Sorry bud, I left Turlock behind about 17 yrs ago... living about 10 hrs north. My parents live in Manteca now and I find myself there from time to time and my stepdad has my old zx7 so if he has it running I'll definitely look you up the next time I'm down that way.
