Yo Boys;

I know I just a Masshole and shouldn't know these things, but I gotta share this one. I was visiting the Big Sin City and rafting the Grand Canyon last week with my Son. On the bus ride to Lee's Ferry, AZ from Vegas I couldn't help but notice this awesome bike road our tour bus was taking there!! It's called Rt. 89 in both states. We took it south from Kanab, UT to Lee's Ferry, AZ. Went through a real pretty little campground on a lake called Jacob Lake (8,000'). If you haven't ridden this road, you need to get your asses up there!!

Please share your enthusiasm with the BluStreak after you take me up on my suggestion!!!

Been through there several times... on a bike once. When we went through on the bikes, it was 9pm and it was deer central. Probably saw 50 deer standing next to the road. I wonder how many we didn't see?!? Theres a real nice road that goes from Jacob lake to the Grand canyon as well.

The irony is that, other than Jacob Lake, 89 south of Kanab is the less scenic part. North of Kanab is the best part

At least it's not too far from Kanab to the base of the Kaibab Mountains. The ride from Flagstaff to the base of the Kaibab is brutal. Some of the ugliest scenery I've ever seen.... aside from most of New Mexico.
