Wringing the chicken's neck
I got some pretty cool video from a trackday I did back in August at Heartland Park in Topeka. The chicken definitely holds its own in the twisty bits. I was wringing its neck down the straights but the damn inlines still pull away.
This track takes pictures and video at each trackday and they send you a complimentary DVD. Pretty cool.
Anyway, here's the video:

nice video.
know what you mean about wringing its neck. It would be great if honda had done a redesign when suzuki came out with the SV's. 20 more hp and better suspension would really help it hang with the big dogs.

Ya - it's too bad you can't hear the chicken over the camera mans bike. I've never really liked the 4cyl buzzy sound - although my buddy has a 2007 R1 that sounds viscious.
I know what you mean about 20 more hp and better suspension (which I have now thanks to Greg and Ohlins). But I guess the hawk was never meant to be a full on race bike and after ten years it's starting to show its age. But I still love riding the thing. I did 650 miles of Arkansas twisties last weekend and the chicken is a **** ton of fun down there.
Plus it's funny when guys on new 600s come up to you after a session and are like "damn! I couldn't get around you". Hehe.
