I first saw this one show up on ebay a few months back. It's been posted each time at a starting price of $6500 and a buy-it-now price of $9500. While an interesting engineering accomplishment, I think the price is rediculous.

It's a rigid rear axle, welded to something that looks like it's made out of a piece of railroad track, bolted to the stock swingarm mount, and held up with what looks to be the stock shock... And it's sitting on it's **** to boot...
It's going to be very, very scary in corners, since it will flex in the absolute wrong places... And most likely it will understeer, since all of these contraptions tend to do just that... And I wouldn't be too surprised if it tears the mounts of that engine block over a heavy bump someday...
Not to mention the brakes which looks to be stock both front and back... That's really going to be fun, both with the added mass, and with a lot of it being rotational mass it's even worse...
Then again, the shock is probably a lot better of now, since it's way to stiff as it is stock... But is it going to be smooth? Duuuh... Nope...
And with a torqy V-twin, will it happile lift the front, which seems to be stock forks, and with all the other stock parts, I'm guessing stock springs... Yeah, It most definetly will... So it will then sit even more on it's ***... And bounce like a son-of-a-bitch when it comes down...
Impressed...? More like impressed it hasn't hit a ditch already, but I guess it's "just for cruising down the boulevard..."
There's a reason Can Am want's a couple of $ for the Spyder... And it's like someone said, "impressive", even if it's not my cup of tea, and not that fun... This, is just stupid... And a whole lot of stupid if you ask that price for it...

they should have triked it like a Can Am Some guy did it years back John Badsey I believe it was, using a Yamaha FJ 1200 and a Vision 550. Cycle Guide tested them and said they stuck like glue.
Still, I'd rather stay with two wheels as long as I can.

Way back when I was a kid, we rode ATCs, and then quads came out, & some wacky company offered front end conversions with dual A-arm suspension to convert trikes to quads.
How cool would a kit to convert the hawk into a can am spyder type 3 wheeler that could wear low profile rubber and actually corner! Whats the name of those recumbant trikes, a coyote? No its a T-rex...
