I woould like to try a 1098 although I personaly prefer the looks of the 848.
the 848 and 1098 pretty much look, and are, the same bike.

i live in moncton nb. to get to laconia i pass right through waterville. we could meet at govenors on i95.

Wow, all these v-twin enthusiasts who desire handling so much that they swap out entire front ends for street use, and only one other Buell in the crowd. Interesting.

Very true. If only the quality could match the handling I'm sure Buell would still be in business. In fact, I would have bought one myself.

finepooch did you get caught in the rain on your way back from laconia last year? I saw a group of i think 3 or 4 bikes with Nb plates northbound on i95 in the pouring rain. One of them was a blue ninja 250 08-09 i cant remember the rest.

Besided the Shawk I also have

2004 Honda Aero 750, it was my first ever bike and has served its purpose. Since getting the hawk it hasn't seen 500 miles. Its for sale in the spring.

2005 Suzuki DR-Z 400, Just got this 6 weeks or so ago and only ridden it a couple times but looking forward to exploring goat trails and logging roads come spring time

1979 Honda XL500, this is my project/beat up bike. I use it when I go to my parents farm and want to go riding through the bush and don't care so much about scratches and dents.

I am attempting to restore a "free" 1983 VF750C Magna. It has numerous problems to include a lost title.

From 1973 up to and including 1998 I rode a variety of BMWs.

Got nothing against the HD marque but their owners have certainly pissed on a few parties here and there. Nothing personal, just not my tribe and not a culture that attracts me.
