Where to mount camera
So Ive never been the one to video myself doing **** but a local fun section of mountainous curvey roads are being eliminated and I want to get it on video. Looking for recommendations on camera mounts for the hawk or helmet mount. Im not going to do the Go Pro route. I have a small cam that takes good video that has the standard small threaded insert deal on the bottom(whatever that is called or sized, guessing 1/4-20?)
Anybody have an clue on where to get mounts for that type? It would be nice to have like a industrial 3m brand double sided tape mount so I can mount it various places. Im not sure if the bike leaning thus making the camera lean will become a headache to watch.
Any ideas?

In my opinion, a helmet can makes for a better video. It gives you a sense that you are actually riding the road rather than watching from an unfamiliar angle. Icant recommend any mounts, but it wouldn't be hard to make one that attaches to your helmet with double sided tape.

it really depends on what your trying to capture, if your trying to capture the road and scenery then a helmet mount is good. A helmet cam doesnt really do a good job of showing lean angle though, and thats what i was looking for when i got my camera. the best thing is to try different spots, the tank is good but depending on your wind shield, the video may get destorted looking through it. the tail cowl is kind of neat as far as you can get it mounted far enough back. either the left or right fairing near the "super hawk" logo is a neat place as well
