where to get these flush mounts
Re: where to get these flush mounts
They're Lockhart Phillips and you can get them in small or large ovals and in amber, clear and smoke.
I've got the large amber ones on mine and they kick ***. Some people say they don't throw enough light forward compared with stock which may or may not be true. I feel that even if this was the case, that they throw more light sideways and back that would more than make up for it.

I would STRONGLY advise you against those flushmounts. They can NOT been seen from the front of the cycle. No on in front of you will know when you are turning. They are also very hard to see in the daytime from up to about 45 degrees.
Stick with sidemarkers that actually stick out a wee bit and that throw some light FORWARD. The life you save may be your own....

Sounds like I'm switching to the bullet type :P

Also stay away from LED's like this LED's only throw out straight out. As they have them installed in this light, they won't throw anylight forward, only straight out the side.

You want something more like these. They throw light foward and sideways.

or this (similar to the top one, but uses a bulb, rather than LEDs)
