What's the difference between energy saving oil and energy conserving oil

I would first just like to apologize for bring up anything to do with the big O I know it's over worked. I noticed that on the front of rotella t5 10-40 it says that the oil is energy saving. The label on the back (the info circle) says nothing about being energy conserving. Does anyone know what the difference is? Is Rotella T5 clutch safe?

Now I'm really sorry I started this thread as I found out what I really wanted to know and that is that the T5 meets JASO MA standards for wet clutches.

All I know is that you don't want energy conserving on the info circle if you like your clutch functional.
