was looking at tank bags and soft saddle bags today. unfortunately we couldn't get the nelson riggs soft saddle bags to fit. I wouldn't have even needed a backpack with them. Not sure what magnetic tank bag I'm gonna go with....

Well I have the Ventura system coming today. Will post some install and after pics once it is in. I have a small Nelson Riggs Tank bag but I am ditching it in lieu of something with a little more room but have not found alot that fits the hawk real good yet.

 

This may not be ideal for the Superhawk, but...

www.brocktoncycle.com has the Fieldsheer Rio Tank bag for $27 + ship. These will hold two 2 liter bottles plus. brocktoncycle is dropping the Fieldsheer line.

www.motorcyclecloseouts has the Fieldsheer Rio Saddlebags for $60 + ship. These don't have soft soft neoprene pads to protect the paint. They appear to have a smooth nylon side touching the bike. I was planning on using synthetic drying clothes to protect the paint.

www.newenough.com appears to like the Cortech Sport & Nelson Rigg mini luggage the best, but that’s what they sell.

I didn’t want a tail bag because I thought it would complicate access to the bike.

 

I use an eclipse tank bag ( I`m on my second one in 30 yrs.). Saddlebags, Chase-Harper ET-4000, high quality, large capacity, and fit nicely on a hawk with stock pipes. I haven`t tried them with my new Jardine highmounts yet.
