You Both Might Be Motorcycle Maniacs If...

I swear every one of these is true in our house...
  • Guests are coming over and the first thing you go clean is the garage.
  • At night you both sit on the floor in front of the TV, watching Supercross while you clean the bugs off your leathers.
  • All the magazines in your bathroom contain the latest motorcycle road tests.
  • You have “Dust to Glory” saved on your DVR.
  • You have more (a lot more) motorcycles than cars in your multi-car garage.
  • Your wife would rather have a new bike than diamonds for your anniversary.
  • A hot discussion topic in your household is whether or not Nicky Hayden can mount a comeback this year.
  • A great Saturday night is spent with both of you sitting on the carpeted floor of the garage, cleaning your bikes with polish and toothbrushes after at least a 200 mile ride that day.
  • On her computer, the majority of Her Favorite sites are online motorcycle stores.
  • And finally…you know that when she says she is going to model her new leather and boots for you, it means her new Joe Rocket suit and Alpinestars!
Anyone care to add to this list?

Your "good" winter coat is a motorcycle jacket.

You have last years' entire race season on DVR....... just in case.

You park motorcycles in the garage and auto's outside.

You take your helmet when buying new eye glasses.

You have more motorcycle boots than "regular" shoes.

Ditto for motorcycle jackets.

3 bikes in garage, 3 cars outside.

You can recite your clothing/footwear sizes in metric on command.

You have a pair of riding gloves for every possible combination of season, weather, temperature, time of day, motorcycle, set of leathers, etc....

Boy is this last one true! We have an entire box in our "motorcycle gear" closet dedicated to nothing but gloves.

-You change the oil in your bikes, but the cars go to the Jiffy Lube down the road

-You cover your bike to protect it from dust in your garage, while the car, truck or van sit out in the elements

-You will sacrafice food to buy some more bling bling for the bike.

-Oh, you spend way to much time on the forum getting your fix, when you wish you were out riding.

When you would rather ride in the rain, just so you can ride, then drive the car.

(guilty of that, especially here in Hawaii where it rains everyday at somepoint, usually not more than a few mins unless its wintertime, then it rains a LOT!)

No wife...she didn't like motorcycles. Love my kids, but S Hawk on cellphone screen. I know vans & trucks are to get a non running bike home. Are cars those dangerous other things with people trapped inside?

Maniac

When you show a little affection to the wife and she instantly assumes you want something for the bike.

-When your talking about chicken strips and it has nothing to do with food.

+1...That's part of my justification to have 2 bikes. Now I need to come up with a way to justify 2 VTR's...

Here's some:
- You spend more time in your detached garage with your friends (you know-VTR, VFR, YZ, Grizzly, and Sportrax) than you do in your house.
- When people come over to party, the party is always in the garage even though its 40 degrees out.
- You **** more on the bush beside your garage than you do in your own bathroom.
- The first door you unlock when you get home is the garage.
