TheVeradero is a big trailie/tourer that never reached these shores. It has the same motor as the VTR but different gearing and has been detuned a bit. I think it makes 90-95 hp stock. Pick up a Haynes manual (they're printed with metric measurements); it's got the XL and VTR together. I believe they've been building them since 1999.
Yeah, those guys on the other side of the pond get all the cool stuff, like the CBR125R, in Repsol colors even!

reply to Hawkster
It was a european site, they had about 6 different models of the vtr platform.
I think two or three were fuel injected,,, the site had the repsol rep. racer
1000 twin.
They had 2007 models though, thought it was quite intresting.
Seems like if it has they same frame then parts with some work could be exchanged.
Living in Texas , and going out west it would be awesome to have a big tank !
All in all I'm digging my superhawk more and more though.
Wish list would be fuel injection and a 5.5>+ gallon tank, and better risers.
Just got to be patient , all things are possible.

Definition: Many golfers use "links" and "golf course" interchangeably. But "links" is actually a specific type of golf course.
A traditional links course will have many - perhaps all - of the following features:
• The course is built along the seaside;
• The soil is sandy and drains easily;
• The course is laid out naturally, so that unusual bumps and slopes in the fairways and greens remain, rather than being smoothed over;
• The rough features natural seaside grasses;
• Bunkers are numerous, very small and very deep (to keep the seaside breezes from blowing the sand away)
• Fairways are rarely (if ever) watered and play firm and fast;
• Links courses usually have few if any trees;
• The course routes out and back. The No. 1 hole begins at the clubhouse and the front nine plays straight out so that No. 9 is farthest hole from the clubhouse; the direction turns back in at No. 10 and the course ends with No. 18 back at the clubhouse.:-D :-D :-D

ok... the "vtr" can also refer to the rc-51. which comes in 2 variants: sp-1, and sp-2. but both are an rc-51. don't ask me why they used the same letters for both bikes, I don't know. but if you read the intro it gives some tip-offs. the most obvious being that the superhawk never won the world superbike championship. its good you found out now before you tried to buy some parts.
