Fox twin clicker
I actually just dropped it off at Go-race.com to be rebuilt, revalved, new spring. Gonna cost about $250 or so all said and done. I might get the guy to do the rest of the work on my bike too. Like put the shock on. And he said he'd set all the settings for me if he did and tell me how to use it. Also asked about my front end and said at some point if I do lots of track days that he does traction dynamics kit which is way better then the racetech stuff. Now 1 question I ask is he's gonna set it up for me at 220lbs. But my goal weight is around 200 (yeah yeah I'm on a diet). Should I say set it up for 200lbs instead or what? I'm worried that if it's setup for more that when I'm lighter I'll be screwed...
and what were you asking about the stands? they're from checkered flag motorsports. like $80 a set I think. Great stands though the rear is designed for spools. So I flipped them over and puts some rags on to protect my swingarm. They're powdercoated black too

Still has the stock shock. :-)
It got me thinking and looking (like "Where is Waldo").
Oh and nice job on the bike....looks nice.

I would lean toward being too stiff then too soft. If I were you I'd probably go somewhere in the middle, if you're 220 and want to be 200 set it up for 210. That way you aren't bouncing all over the place when you get up to speed. You're planning on doing track days on it right? You don't want it too soft when you're out there and well we never really know how well the diet will work do we. (I speak from the heart there) As far as the stands I got those T-rex stands on ebay for $99 shipped and they do both spooled and non-spooled swingarms. Good luck and good riding!

well... idealy I'd be a solid 180-190.... I'm more expecting 200 without much trouble... and yeah I've been there done that with losing weight. heh. I used to wrestle so it's shouldn't be too hard getting back into shape with a diet + good cardio. Honestly I think setting up for 200 should be fine... But granted I'm still kind've a noob at this and is why I'm asking for advice on the matter. if it's set for 220 and I put it on the lowest dampening setting I guess it'd work... or even 210... I dunno. the whole adjustable shock and easily adjustable preload (even moreso then stock) is new to me....

You're better off a little too stiff then too soft but not overly stiff either or it will skip on you. Too soft you'll get a pogo effect and high speed wobble which is THE LAST thing you want at speed in a full lean. I forgot you're still a youngin so the weight won't be as much an issue as it is for me. The older you get the harder to get it off, wha wha wha.

If you're serious about the 180-190 then go for 200 that way you leave yourself some wiggle room. The springs usually have a little bit of room for example a spring is set up for someone 200 to 210 or 190-200.

gotcha. I'm gonna call tomorrow and say setup for 200. that's what my .95kg springs in the front are setup for. Plus I'm not buying a full suit until I'm in better shape cause well I'd be throwing money down the toilet

A 2piece is SO much easier to get in and out of on the hot, sweaty days when you just stick to the liner of your suit (unless you wear the long-sleeved under-armour-type liner). I love my 1piece for the fit and comfort.
Nice shock. Best of luck with it!
