VTR1000F, a Classy Guy
Steve has been very good to me, and, the only way I have to repay him for the moment, is by acknowledging his generosity.
Living in Canada sometimes brings frustration when we find good deals south of the boarder, but can't take advantage of them. Either they will not deliver to us, or, shipping costs are beyond ridiculous. In these situations, I have often asked/bothered/taken advantage of Steve's kind hearted help, to get this stuff out to me. The last time, I had to fight with him in order to pay him for the shipping costs. We had this little back and forth PayPal thing go on for a few days. Now this time, he refuses my financial contribution to cover shipping to my place.
He has no reason to do so, yet, he still does, so, the only thing I can say is, Thanks Steve, you're a generous and a classy guy !

Based on my buying experience (eBay), mostly because of opportunistic/incompetent/abusive/clueless sellers (though there are "legitimate" cases of expensive shipping too it must be said). I have turned away from many purchases for this very reason. Case in point: a set of handlebar grips selling for $16 and the seller wants $25 for shipping! Thankfully, there are some fair and intelligent sellers who can get it here for $3... guess who gets the business?

Customs... They get a percentage of everything that flows both ways across the border. They are saving all that dough to build a wall to protect us from those "dangerous" border hopping Canadians! LOL!!!!
