twin headlight system for hawk
Yep... It's been done... One way is to swap the entire front end plastics... Apparently the CBR600 from some years can be made to fit... Also the RC-51 plastics can be fitted with some work...
The other is to swap out the stock headlight for a mounting for two smaller projector lights... Here is one example... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TWIN-...91110009r26902
Then there is the option to go with race plastics and make a totaly custom job your self...

Looks good, Tweety, but it needs a little... something...

There are some cool dual kits for streetfighters here, not sure how hard it would be to adapt, or if it'd be worth it. I like the Hesa Headlight fire myself, that vertical stack is nice.

Altough if I do find a suitable shroud/ring in chrome or otherwise I will use that to cover the irregular shape of the projector itself... I like the clean black, but the way it looks is mostly to have it sealed up... No light leaking in the wrong places...

They went to the trouble to make it look like a HID projector... then put incandescent bulbs in it... doesn't make much sense to me...
Low/High... solenoid... It's from a nissan G35...
BTW look here for a gallery... Text is in Swedish so it might not be usefull... But there are a few more snaps...
Basicly what it says about the HID... The rear two bolts used to adjust the aim is functional... The projector is mounted on a "frame" of 2 mm aluminium sheet that is brushed matte and painted black... and uses the 3 internal mount points... one fixed joint and two bolts...
Iteration 2 will be prettier... I have figured out how to hide the two hex bolts from view and in that process I'm going to tighten up the gap in a few places around the projector...
