Triumph Daytona
I just bought one of these (newer 675 version)...holy crap...I didn't realize they made motorcycles that stop and turn as easily this thing...
I don't think I am going to sell the hawk though, everything on it feels more "solid" than the daytona, and it's certainly more comfortable. Not just for long trips, but for riding the canyons with my less daring friends, the 675 is really demanding physically because of the riding position.

Yeh, it's got guts. My girl friend has a Street Tripple with the same engine, just a little less power then the Daytona. This thing comes alive real fast, and pulls really hard. Fun to watch the gauges light up when you get close to red line
Your going to like it more over time, I'm sure.

I had a lot of fun on my TT600 chasing guys on the newer 675s around the track. I've not ridden the 675, but if anything like my TT, they are nice and light and flickable. My only problem with the TT was it was so small for my frame. at 6 ft and 190, I felt squeezed in when tucked in on the track. I'm enjoying the hawk much better because of the size. And the hawk's power still runs circles around the 600, at least for casual riding. I found good power in the Trumpet, but had to get the motor wound up to get at it. What's the redline on the 675s? my 600 was 14k and it sounded REALLY sweet on the track with a 2Brothers exhaust letting it sing! Far different than the other 600s out there.

IMO, Triumph has done a remarkable job with the 675 (notably the engine). The thing pulls as hard as a 600 I4 on top but the lows and mids are miles better. I rode one for a bit a couple years back and was amazed that it would actually pull half decently when rolling on it in top gear at 4K rpm..... Nice bike, congrats!
