Question Tank mounted Camera and windshield config

I am in the market for a new windscreen, and will be buying a tank mount for my video camera.

I need to know if a dark smoke, or a light smoke is too dark for the camera to see anything.

I will go clear if I need too, but like the look better of the dark smoke.

Any other ideas appriciated too of course.

I saw http://www.handsfreedirect.com/dsr100.html this but I dont know how I would convince the wife why I need ANOTHER video camera... since I already own a MINI DV and soon will own a 30 gig HDD.

Anything other than clear does not work that well . After putting the dark smoked sheild I rigged it to fit in the fake air duct on the right side . Works ok , Just not as well as seeing the tach and speedo on board IMHO .

Gotta have clear. Helmet cam is the way to go though for the best shots.

Anyone have any prefrence over OEM style and Double Bubble Zero Gravity screens?

I am gonna with clear, but not sure which is better. I dont race, but ride hard sometimes, and dont really go that fast anymore... well not over 100 anymore

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
Just know that a DB windscreen can lead to a melted gauge cluster if you're not careful.......

Well I better go with stock then, since I live in Hawaii and the sun is strong enough already to melt things.
