Street Fighter Conversion
For any of you who have attempted to or successfully completed a street fighter project I jave a question: How the hell did any of you mount the front end fairings? Where do you get these mysterious brakets to firmly support the front end to an R6 or in my case, the light ballast and wind shield of a Ducati 996 (http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/mcy/97642502.html). I was also toying with idea of integrating the front end of a Buell XBR (Firebolt) to the SH. I saw a guy on this site with a furry windshield and what appeared to be the front end of an R6 on his SH. Who are you are furry windshield guy? How did you do it?
Re: Street Fighter Conversion
When I had Honda Hornet I went through series of bikini fairing excercises. And found that best ever looking combination was Mondial Moto aftermarket twin-lights fairing "cap" + twin headlights from Louis catalogue.
Check that out - I sold that kit to fellow Horneteer, and he made beatiful bike with it. But here you can see how I planned to install it...it is near bottom of page

Here it is directly - couple of photos - I can guarantee it looks great on Storm - I tried to hang it onto my Storm before selling ...and it's is not too expensive: 89 Euro for lights + 90 Euro for "cap". And no probs to install on any bike:
