Noticed when I joined DIYAudio forum today it has same look and feel as this one except their active topics link works the way ours used to. Maybe a forum moderator there could be consulted for advice? (Apologies to mods if this seems like flogging a dead horse, just trying to be constructive so ignore this post if not helpful. )

The problem is, we as mods are helpless here. We have NO support. Greg has the ability to make changes and/or talk with tech support, so even if you tell me exactly what needs done, I can't do it. I can not contact any tech support what so ever.

That's probably the first problem that Greg should address and the subject of this thread, the second.

This is really the only board on which I've ever been active, so forgive my ignorance, but why is Greg the only one who can address issues like this? I realize he is the top dog and has been the most active on this board by post count, but shouldn't there be someone who is more consistently active with the ability to support issues such as this?

Yes, someone else should have the ability. But he would have to trust them enough to make them an admin (pretty sure he can do that). Heck, we cant even reach him @ this point.

In the past he's responded to me pretty promptly whenever I stupidly replied to one of those forum auto-generated DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL emails.

Maybe I'll try that.
