Also, do you live in NY? Anywhere near Saratoga? I live in central PA, and spend a lot of time there and near Syracuse, NY. Saratoga's near Albany right? I don't get over that way much. |

GUILTY AS CHARGED...
SuperCharged Frontier, big mud tires, low gearing, LOTS OF STEEL... Aprox 14mpg on its best day's anymore... Infact, the SuperHawk is my way of justifying still driving the truck.. lol I get 14MPG in the truck, and 34MPG on the bike... Thats what, 24MPG average if I do 50/50 riding vs driving... Our Mercury Sable (wife's car) only gets 24-26 when she stops stomping the skinny pedal... |
I went a whole year once without a truck, just a car and two bikes. That was 1978. It just didn't feel right. I've had a truck ever since. Not having a truck is almost as bad as not owning guns. It just wouldn't be right.

My mitsubishi mirage 1.8 gets 33...so cars can be beat bikes. lol I agree with miken996, its not about gas its loving to ride. I wouldn't mind a toyota or mazda truck. |
