So how did I do?(tire from ebay)

So my 2003 super hawk with 7k miles still had the factory dunlop on the front and was getting pretty thin. I found a Pirelli Diablo Corsa on ebay with no reserve. Got the tire for $76. What is everyone's oppinion on this tire? I have a Diablo Strada on the rear. got to find some curves now to get rid of the chicken stripes.

It's got to be better than a 7 year old OEM tire, which wasn't very good even when it was new.

Seriously, everyone has their favorite tire. But you should match front and rear if you're planning on erasing chickenstrips.

I assume the last four digits of the serial number are the date code 4309
so i guess that would make the tire about a year old.

As stated above, you got a good one. 4309 = 43rd week of 2009

speaking of tires... Motomummy.com has the new Dunlop Q2's for $200. That's for both the front and rear(180/50). Free shipping too

Red face

Correction on the size from motomummy. It's a 180/55 for the rear of course. I'm a dumbass...
