She's gone!

Just watched my beloved Superhawk go away on someone elses truck. Mixed feeling are felt. It's such a great bike, but I just got a SV650 and want to focus on racing and coaching track days. During the past 3 years she taught me a lot about riding and a ton on the maintenance and mechanical side. She got me from a track noob to a control rider, from barely knowing how to take off bodywork to working on everything outside of the motor. She will be missed.

After all we've been through and as I've said before: Dig the hole, throw the bike in, throw me in, add soft dirt on top. That's when it will be over.

Glad you finally got it sold. Maybe the new owner will show up here.

One of the biggest mistakes you've ever made. Sorry for your loss.

After "owning" and sv650, how could you be happy with what feels like 1/2 the motor of the vtr?

You will be back. I nearly went down the same route recently. A friend had a SV for sale recently. Took it out for a long run and although I kinda liked it, it was no comparison.

I could have gotten an Italian Lady for the same price as mine. After test riding both - Well, you can see I went with the Superhawk.
A. I'm a Honda fan.
B. I'd rather ride than wrench.
C. I don't wear my ball cap backwards.
