After a long 5 months, the bike is finally running. The bike died on me last October. After reading all the posts about the R/R, thats what i thought the culprit was. I was layed off for 3 off those months so had no money for repairs. Took the bike out of the shed last weekend, took off the rear section and discovered that an aftermarket R/R was already on there. So then i purchased a new battery on wednsday, charged it up and put it in this afternoon. Added sum fresh gas and stabil. She fired right up!!!!! Let it run for a little then decided to gear up and head out for the first ride of the year. It was almost better then sex!!!! God i missed riding!!!!! My bike never started as quik as it does now. If it didnt start within 3 tries last year i had to jump start the bike. So hopefully the battery was the reason.

 

The battery is the heart of the whole bike, or car/truck. Glad you're back in the saddle.
