Sept 1997 issue of Motorcyclist Mag?

Does anyone have this in an electronic copy? It is the issue that the Superhawk was co-awarded 1000cc Sport Touring Bike of the Year. I have the actual issue from 1997 but I do not have a scanner and would like to have the article in an elec format.

I have searched the magazine website and they do not have it up either. Anyone have it?

I've got a hard copy of that issue but no scanner. Frankly, I don't think the piece is worth too much.

The Oct. '97 issue had "World's Best Sportbike" the "Wildest Comparo Ever!"

VTR1000f GSX-R750 TL1000S Triumph Daytona 955 and the Yamaha YZF1000R

Yamaha barely edged out the Super Hawk, but this was the article which made me decide the VTR was the bike for me.

It is a small article but it is more of a personal preference for that article. That is one of the earliest magazine articles I can remember and still have on the bike.

Plus I want to send it to a guy that said the bike was not in production then.

Got it. But can't help with a copy.

The VTR was a '98 model year but released in '97.

First Mototcyclist test was in April of 1997.

I bought the reports for my previous Hawk GT and my Superhawk. It's a very cool service. They contain all the magazine articles for which ever bike you search. I'll look around for the file.....

Thanks guys. I saved both pdf's and look forward to reading through them. I travel a lot for work so this will help give me something to stay entertained. My wife also says I need to read more, so I just killed two birds with one stone!
