i bought foam from sergent and reworked it myself ($25) then took it to local furniture shop and had it recovered ($50) feels, looks much better for much less $

Just bought a Sargent and ride with a guy who has one on his SH and they're far superior to the stock seat. Also, those 4 hooks they come with perfectly hold a tourmaster sport tailbag for your stuff. Was on sale from Sargent as "overstock" for $360. Tell them you belong to a club and they'll ship it for free.

If you're more ambiitious, there's an awesome piece in the new Motorcycle Consumer News about customizing your seat. I'm gonna give it a shot with my old seat this winter.

I like the look of the Sargent better. Undecided if I like the color matched welt.

I have a Corbin and love it. My only gripe is that the material is really slippery, so if you pin the throttle or have to decel quickly, you'll find yourself getting tossed front to rear. aside from that i think its great.

im not in love with my corbin at all i have the smuggler seat and wouldnt recomend it. for comfort the stock seat feels better than my smuggler.

Superhawk smuggler corbin seat
This seat is from my 1999 VTR1000 Superhawk-Pearl Yellow. Seat is in excellent condition with both keys and stored in the original bubble pack from Corbin. Seat retailed for $659.99, but will consider offers. If you have an interest please send PM and I will response asap.
