Sad Days
I lost a good friend and riding buddy last Friday. He was a good mechanic and a motorcycle enthusiast. He was the owner of a 79 RD400 Daytona special, a 84 RZ350, and a 02 CBR954 along with various dirt bikes. Very suprising to me, and his Family, he decided to end his life. I'm still in shock. Anyone who's been through this kind of thing says to themsleves "if only I said this", "What if I did this". The bottom line is he's gone, and there's probably nothing anyone could have done. Keep the Barfield Family in your thoughts in the next few days...weeks.

sorry you lost a friend, but evidently, he had enough of this **** and figured it was time to jump ship! Like a friend of mine used to say, "Life's a bitch, then you're dead". We'll all be with him sooner than we want to think. Hang in there.

I can never make sense of this, I feel your pain. Had one friend and one family member make this choice.
Time will take away some of the pain but not all of it. Go do some thing he loved to do in his memory. Get drunk, get mad, whatever it takes.

After my best friend's older brother did this, and I saw the effect on his friends & family, it eliminated any possibility of me doing the same, no matter how down I might be I don't want to put those I care for through what you are going through.
Condolences.
