I was looking on ebay, and there are many of the windscreens that list VTR1000 and RVT1000 in the same listings... Are they actually the same? I was going to order a double bubble tented one, but with doing a fairing swap to RC51 fairings, I'm guessing they are different. but not sure...

anyone know if they are in fact interchangable?

the VTR 1000 SP1 and SP2 are the RC51.. Only as labeled for Europe.

The VTR1000F is the superhawk.

well i know that... but from a visual glance at my race fairings for the RC51 vs my stock upper, they are very similar...

JDHAWK used his stock windscreen when he swapped to a RC51 fairing. So my question is if they are infact the same.... now the bike, but the windscreen...

Really the only part that looks like its different is the part where our driving light sits.

no not the same the O.E S.H. windscreen that I used as a temporary was screwed down to the factory mounts then I bought a rc51 doublebuble and then matched it up with the aftermarket upper and drilled my holes and used the gold anodized aluminum fasteners that came with the shield

however now i can just order a superhawk one... wifey ok'd ordering Mario Nava stuff... so i'm gonna finish getting the RC51 fairings mounted up, take some pictures, and list them for sale ready to mount.
